Claudia Cohen’s Books

Claudia Cohen began working with Rollin Milroy of Heavenly Monkey in 2005. A year later, she bound the deluxe version of Barbara’s Expressed: Ten Philatelic Fictions. She went on to create two books with Heavenly Monkey Editions: Chasing Paper and Counting. She has also made a number of books on her own, including Edible Alphabets and Paste Papers.

Chasing Paper

2007, square 4to. Edition of 30 and five A.P. copies. Set in Gill Sans. A collection of more than 300 paper samples. Bound in a limp paper case with different papers woven through the front, with a matching tray case. Out of print.

Counting

2009, small 8vo, 12 openings. Edition of 20 numbered and 10 hors commerce copies. Title page and colophon set in Bodoni, printed by HM on Guarro laid paper. Bound in vintage European decorated paper with matching tray case. Inquire.

Edible Alphabets

2010, small 8vo. Edition of 30 numbered and 7 A.P. copies. Metal stencils (19th century) and tiny rubber stamps (1920s) on vintage Whatman paper. Bound in 19th–century vellum documents in tray case. Inquire.
