Bindings

Textile Designs on Paper (4to, 56 pages text and samples) is issued in two states, deluxe and regular, both bound and boxed by Claudia. Both have been tooled, as well as stamped, with 22k gold, using a brass rule and printers’ ornaments.

Copies 1–10 (and I–IV) are bound in full leather with onlays and a quantity of gold stamping and tooling. It is issued with an additional textile sample book.

Copies 11–26 are bound in quarter leather and leather fore-edge with Claudia’s paste papers over boards. Each full cover was stamped 30 times with the 22k gold.
